WORLD OPERA DAY: MUSIC IN ALL UNDERGROUND STATIONS

On Friday 25 October, World Opera Day is being celebrated for the first time, the aim being to raise awareness and promote the influential, positive value of the operatic genre on society.

Numerous events are taking place around the world, and Brescia will also be joining in with the celebrations with a special initiative promoted by the Teatro Grande Foundation - partner of Opera Europa - in collaboration with the Brescia Mobilità Group.

On Friday 25 October from 3 pm to 7 pm, the best-known opera arias will be broadcast from the terrace of the Teatro Grande and piped out along Corso Zanardelli and in parallel, from 8 am to 8 pm, music and voices will reverberate through all the underground stations, transporting the most famous opera arias from the centre throughout the city.
