Bike Point

Bike Point Brescia 

The Bike Point is a reference hub for those who choose bicycles and sustainable mobility services. It’s a space dedicated to two wheels and to all citizens interested in alternative mobility solutions such as Bicimia and BicinaMia.

The Bike Point is located in Largo Formentone and is the result of a collaboration between the Municipality of Brescia, Brescia Mobilità, and FIAB – Amici della Bici Brescia “Corrado Ponzanelli”.

What you can do at the Bike Point

At the Bike Point, you can:

  • buy bicycles, accessories, and cycling gear
  • find official “Brescia”-branded merchandise
  • get maintenance and repairs carried out by specialized technicians
  • pick up bicycles from BicinaMia, the bike-sharing service for children aged 5 to 12 (reserved for Bicimia subscribers)

The space also hosts Più Bici a Brescia, the information desk run by volunteers from FIAB – Amici della Bici Brescia in partnership with the Municipality of Brescia and the Department for Mobility and Traffic. Visitors can obtain information about cycling in the city, report needs and suggestions, learn about initiatives promoting bicycle mobility, and join the association and its activities. The information desk is open every Thursday afternoon from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm and every Saturday morning from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Bike Station

The Bike Station, located in Piazzale della Stazione, is a supervised parking facility exclusively dedicated to bicycles and motorcycles, open 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

The facility is spread over two levels and can accommodate:

  • 423 bicycles
  • 8 scooters

If you are using a cargo bike, its maximum width must not exceed 90 cm to allow it to pass through the entrance gate.

It is equipped with a video surveillance system to ensure safety and monitoring.

Available services

Inside the Bike Station, the following service is available:

  • a traditional bicycle rental service, which complements the Bicimia bike-sharing system.

Thirty bicycles are available, all equipped with lights, along with 20 helmets for those who need one. No membership card is required. Simply leave a deposit and present a valid ID. The rental fee is €2 for a half day and €4 for a full day. The same rates apply to everyone, and no discounts are available for groups or schools.

Access to the facility

To access the Bike Station, you must have a Park&Bike Card, which:

  • replaces the previous subscription card
  • allows you to load a subscription for bicycle or motorcycle parking

Old cards can be replaced at the Bike Station during operator opening hours.
Those who already have a Park&Bike Card can request to load a parking subscription.

Occasional access

For occasional users of the Bike Station without a subscription, a points-based card is available.

The membership card and subscription can be obtained directly from the Bike Station staff. Once activated, you can access and leave the facility independently. If no staff member is on duty and you are using a Points Card, simply ring the gate bell. The 24-hour remote monitoring control room will grant you access.

Operator presence 

  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Sunday and public holidays: closed
