PARKING LOT AT THE FAIRGROUND IN VIA CAPRERA: REDEVELOPMENT WORKS COMPLETED
Work has been completed at Parking Lot G of the Brescia exhibition centre, making 1,100 parking spaces available in a redeveloped environment.
The project was carried out by Brescia Mobilità, in collaboration with the Municipality of Brescia, and is part of the agreements between Immobiliare Fiera, the owner of the area, the Municipality of Brescia and Brescia Mobilità regarding the transfer of the parking areas north of the exhibition centre for the construction of the depot of the Fiera–Pendolina tram line and the multi-storey park-and-ride facility planned in the Tram Project.
The works at the car park, which is accessed from Via Caprera and located a few hundred metres from the PalaLeonessa, lasted 4 months. During this period, the permeable surface of the parking areas was redeveloped, the lighting system was restored, the green areas were reorganised, and the asphalting of the carriageways and pedestrian paths was completed, along with the construction of the separating elements between the parking rows.
