Miles Project

 

The MILES project - Integrated Mobility as a Sustainable Educational Lever - has launched, funded by the Ministry of the Environment under the "National experimental programme of sustainable mobility home-school and home-work".

Through a number of activities both in the infrastructural and in the educational and cultural fields, the project aims to invite students, workers and the public to adopt environmentally sustainable choices in their daily travels.

The two-year project is promoted by the City of Brescia and includes the participation of Ambiente Parco, Brescia Mobilità S.p.A., Cauto Cantiere, the City of Botticino, Euromobility, Istituto Comprensivo Centro 1 Brescia, the Tartaglia-Olivieri Institute, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, the local Police and Brescia Local School Office.

As part of the Miles project, in 2018 Brescia Mobilità will organise the initiatives of the Bike Point (for more information click here) and the educational project Muoviamoci (for more info click here).

Also starting are training courses for company and school Mobility Managers promoted by Euromobility together with Cauto.

On Friday, 1 June at 2.30 pm at AmbienteParco (Largo Torrelunga 7) a presentation was held on the Miles Project's educational activities and projects for the 2018-2019 school year.

 

On Monday, 4 June 2018 the Mobility Manager training course will start

The training course on Company and Area Mobility Management promoted by Euromobility and CAUTO starts on Monday, 4 June.

The course is divided into two modules. The first is called "Techniques and Tools for Company Mobility Management" organised by Euromobility, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, 4-5 June.

The second module is "Help in Drafting Plans for Commuting to Work and School" organised by the non-profit CAUTO Social Cooperative will take place in October.
