BRESCIAPP!: FROM 4 MAY, TICKETS MUST BE ACTIVATED WITHIN 24 HOURS
New rules for using tickets purchased via the app: what’s changing and what to do
From today, Monday 4 May 2026, the rules for using tickets purchased via Bresciapp! are changing: all tickets must be activated within 24 hours of purchase.
If the ticket is not activated within this timeframe:
- it expires automatically;
- it appears in the ‘used tickets’ section;
- it can no longer be used.
The date and time by which activation must take place are always clearly indicated within Bresciapp!
Once activated, the ticket retains its usual validity:
- standard ticket for zones 1 and 2: valid for 90 minutes;
- standard ticket for zones 1 and 2: valid for 100 minutes;
- day ticket: valid for the whole day.
Please note that the ticket must be activated before boarding the bus or before crossing the red line on the underground.
Tickets purchased before 4 May 2026
Tickets purchased on Bresciapp! before 4 May 2026 may be used until 31 December 2026. After this date, they will no longer be available in the app.
