PREALPINO PARKING: A NEW CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE EXCHANGER PARKING
“Here the car stops. The journey continues.” This is the message of the new communication campaign dedicated to promoting the use of the Prealpino park-and-ride facility and designed to raise awareness of the benefits of leaving your car at the city gates and continuing your journey by public transport.
Located at the metro terminus, Parcheggio Prealpino offers 1,005 parking spaces spread across six floors, with modern video surveillance systems and 24-hour assistance from the Brescia Mobilità Remote Control Room.
Stop is free for those who continue their journey by public transport. The ticket collected at the entrance can be used to travel by metro and on Zone 1 buses: simply bring it with you and validate it for each use of public transport. Upon return, by entering the ticket in the automatic ticket machine, only trips made by metro and bus are charged.
Brescia public transport season ticket holders can also use the parking lot free of charge, subject to obtaining their card at the Tourism and Mobility Infopoints.
Prealpino Parking represents more than just a parking lot: it is one of the points where private mobility and public transport meet, offering an additional opportunity to those who reach Brescia from outside every day or must travel to the city center.
