SANPOLINO METRO CONSTRUCTION: CORSO BAZOLI ROUNDABOUT TO REOPEN ON JULY 9
Work continues on the installation of sound barriers along the elevated section of the metro near the Sanpolino station.
To allow for the completion of the installation of the modules and ancillary works, construction in the roundabout area will continue through Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Starting Thursday, July 9, 2026, with the reopening of the roundabout between Corso Bazoli and Via Merisi, several changes to the route of Line 20, the bus service replacing the metro, will take effect. Buses on Line 20 heading to Poliambulanza will stop at the Sanpolino Metro - North metro station (No. 2139), instead of at the current stop on Via Merisi (No. 2128).
