UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: ANNUAL TRAVEL CARDS WITH 50% DISCOUNT

Subsidised travel is available also for the 2025 / 2026 academic year for students enrolled in any of the Brescia higher education institutes (Brescia University, Sacred Heart Catholic University – Brescia campus, “Santa Giulia” Art School, Brescia LABA art school, “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory, and International Education and Language Centre High School – CIELS), who can purchase an annual travel card at half price.

For travel in Zone 1 (Brescia city only) the cost is €140 instead of €275, while for Zones 1+2 (including Brescia city and the 14 adjoining municipalities) the cost is €215 instead of €425.

Each student can also choose the start date of their travel card: available start dates are 1 September, 1 October, 1 November or 1 December.

In view of the trial semester that replaces the admission test, Faculty of Medicine students can take advantage of a specific solution this year: purchase in two instalments. The first instalment can be purchased from today, online or from the Tourism and Mobility Infopoints, with validity up to 31 January 2026, while the second instalment can be purchased only by students whose enrolment is confirmed also for the second semester. The second instalment will be on sale, likewise at the online shop and the Infopoints, from 15 January 2026.

Students who only use public transport services occasionally can choose a low-cost package for 50 journeys (valid 3 or 6 months) or 100 journeys (valid 9 months) for travel in Zone 1 or Zones 1+2.

Once again this year all students enrolled in Brescia higher education institutes can make use of special Bicimia bike hire terms with no requirement for the €20 deposit payment.
