Updates on parking in Via Branze starting 7September 2017

We inform our customers that the City of Brescia in partnership with Brescia Mobilità will change the parking rules in Via Branze near the Engineering and Medical schools of the University of Brescia.

Starting on 7 September 2017, four new parking meters will be situated on the north side of Via Branze, between Via Triumplina and Viale Europa, which will be used for the new area covered by parking meters with application of the C1 rate: parking in blue spaces will cost €1.20 per hour for the first 3 hours with a maximum of €5 every day excluding weekends and holidays and the possibility for residents in Brescia to use the Park City Card.

Near the entrance to the university three additional parking spaces for the disabled will be added.

Remember that it is possible to reach the university using the subway, getting off at Europa station, or by bus using Lines 7, 10, 15 and 16. While for those

arriving to the city by car there are park-and-ride lots at Sant'Eufemia - Buffalora, Poliambulanza, Prealpino and Casazza, where it is possible to park the car and continue on the subway. For those who enjoy physical activity, the Bicimia bike sharing service is available, using the stations on Via Branze and Viale Europa near the university.
